While working in London and spending months away from Ali, Kevin went to the National Gallery and saw a show by Claude Monet and a beautiful painting (see the front of their programs below).  He was inspired and wrote the following postcard to Ali, and I couldn’t do a better job in describing these two and their love, so he’s letting me share it here:

“Today I went to this painting and spoke to God.  I praised him for his glory in you and in our love.  I asked him to give us both strength and to pray on our future together.  I asked that you and I never be apart from one another again, and to send you an angel to protect you and make sure you are safe.  I then asked that you be safely brought here, that we may look at this together.  Then I thanked him. I thanked him for my angel, you.  And to never send me another.  I only want Ali.  I love you and miss you, Kevin (May 2006).”
