Ah…Whistling Straits. It is beautiful anytime of year for a wedding. But in autumn is when the magic starts to leak out of the seams there. It’s harvest time, that last hurrah before winter. Warm, golden light, a slowly changing landscape, a slight breeze off Lake Michigan and the waning chances to golf, just one more time before the cold sets in.
Lynnea and Jason set the rustic elegance of their wedding into this pocket of sweetness on a positively perfect day in Kohler. The surroundings were enhanced by the guests who brought their own warmth, camaraderie to add to the revelry. Oh how I love photographing weddings at Whistling Straits. They just seem to come with their own special brand of wonderful.
