Spence and Emma are two of those people who you meet and realize you are in the presence of an “old soul”. Their manner is calm, their sensibility, timeless. To step into their wedding day is to step into a party of almost a hundred years ago. It’s not just the styling, the cut of her dress, or even the lovely Villa Terrace (which actually is from a century ago). It’s that Emma obviously shares a piece of her Great Grandmother’s soul (and her name). And that Spence is a man cut from the same cloth as Gatsby himself – all chivalry, gentlemanly manners and style. This day was unabashedly fun, but also so deeply steeped in tradition, emotion and beauty.
