When you are getting married on one of the hottest days of the year (95 degrees and a heat index over 100) you have to move fast.  And since Molly and Dave had opted for just five hours of coverage, I figured we would be moving fast anyway.  It turns out that the carefully crafted schedule Molly and I had formed allowed for plenty of relaxing, no rushing, and ample laughs, tears, and joy.  It was such a sweet, sweet wedding day.  We covered their full story, they got to focus on what mattered most to them, and the results were fantastic.

The wedding ceremony was held at the Unitarian Meeting House in Madison.  Designed by Flank Lloyd Wright, it is beautifully appointed with restrained arts & crafts elegance, and an abundance of light.  It is a gorgeous setting for a wedding!

There was so much emotion flowing between Molly & Dave and their families, it was such a joy to witness:

Molly has two sisters, and Dave has two brothers – quite a match!

Since Molly and Dave were married on a Sunday, they got to use the gorgeous third floor of the Madison Club for their reception.  This area is usually available only to members, except on Sundays.  The lighting on the rooftop patio is incredible, especially at dusk.  I would shoot every Sunday wedding at the Madison Club just to play with that light.

Molly and Dave, it was such an honor to witness your pairing.  I can’t even express how delightful your families were, how palpable your love is and was, and how bright your future as a married couple must be.  Thank you for including this Molly in your plans.
