For Sarah and Adam, love is in the details. It is in the letters they wrote each other at the beginning of their courtship, in her great-great grandmother’s engagement ring pinned inside her dress. It is in the specific way Sarah plans and arranges for Adam’s comfort, in the grilled cheese and frites she ate at lunch. It bubbles up in the champagne toast post-ceremony and shines in the hauntingly similar photo I took to one of their favorites of Lake Park Bistro from a hundred years ago. It is Sarah and Adam’s attention to the details that makes the other one feel loved, comfortable and appreciated that makes their marriage unique.
