Hubby often asks me to make him any number of dishes that he makes equally well himself. When I scoff at such a request, he tells me “but you make it with love”. He swears up and down he can taste the difference. It’s a cute sentiment, for sure. When I walked into Krista and Mike’s beautiful wedding at the Grand Geneva, I knew it had been created with love. You could feel it in every craft and personal touch that Krista had carefully made. You could see it in the florals that dripped from the chandeliers and sprung up on the tables. You could see and feel the difference. And that is really what a wedding day should be – crafted with love. Lucky for Mike and Krista, they clearly have made enough to last them many years.
The vision that Frontier Flowers and Krista brought together is a great illustration of playing to your venue’s strengths. The Chivalri chairs, tumbleweed willow and lanterns and florals dripping from the chandeliers really highlighted the architecture and made this venue feel special.
Krista and Mike – Your day was uniquely beautiful and so very you. I love that I can see that in your relationship too – you don’t just accept each other for your true selves – you love each other for it. Hold onto that quality, it will serve you very well. It was a joy to capture your wedding day, and all the love you crafted into it. Thanks for asking me to capture the start of your life together!
