She ducked under the shelter of the umbrella and made a run for it.  The voluminous yards of her wedding dress gathered up in her hands and a wide smile on her face; she dodged the raindrops and made a mad dash for the ornate doors of her childhood church.  The door swung open and her Dad was all smiles, waiting for her.  ”Rain is lucky, you know”  he offered, and she smiled nervously.  She could see the lights of the church thru the narthex windows, but she didn’t dare peek any further.  She was saving that view for her entrance.  Deep breath, in and out, in and out.  She smoothed her dress, adjusted her veil, took her flowers from her father.  This was it.  She had walked this same route so many times, but this time it would be special. This time her soulmate was waiting.
