The music swelled.  He reached for her hand.  She felt her body propel forward, down the aisle.  She caught a glimpse of her mother’s smiling face, of the purple sash sweeping against her dress.  She looked over to her left. Nipun smiled broadly at her. She couldn’t help but return his expression as joy swelled inside her chest.  She couldn’t remember much of what had just occurred.  Had there been music?  What had she said?  Had she stumbled?  What had he said?  She searched her brain.  She remembered a tear, a look in Nipun’s eye, a shy smile, a laugh, a squeeze of the hand.  And, a kiss.  She sighed with relief.  Married.  They were definitely married now.
