When Jessica & Brennan looked around them, they saw water, sky, cornfields, smiling faces, precocious toddlers and surprisingly, a little modernity nestled among the vast ruralness.  Their world is peppered by subtle contrasts, and celebrating that was the ideal way to celebrate their wedding day.  It’s the little twists and turns that come at you unexpectedly that make a life interesting, and in accordance, a wedding day.  They nestled a beautiful and emotional ceremony into her parent’s hidden backyard – with friends and family circled around them.  Out of the cornfields that surround them rose their reception tent, with a surprise downtown club atmosphere inside.

Just one of those many small twists and turns – a cute toddler in a tux….accessorized with his uncle’s favorite shoes – air jordans!

Brennan himself I think best characterizes those twists and turns I was talking about.  When you first meet him, he’s quiet and unassuming.  Dig a little deeper and you find humor, sweetness and a little bit of a hard edge – like these finger tattoos that memorialize the two families that came together to make his heritage.
