So, who am I?

I’m an artist.  Weddings give me an opportunity to create art.  It’s not a career I ever thought I would have, but now that I look back I can see how all the divergent paths I went down add up to this skill set.  I make other kinds of art too – painting and drawing were my first loves, and printmaking is ingrained in my soul.

I’m also a wife.  This is the moniker I’m most proud of, the one I feel like I fought hardest for, and the one that I try to make my highest priority.  My Hubby is an entrepreneur too, and we lead a pretty unconventional life, but we always have fun.  He is the left-brain side of m three.  I don’t handle numbers well (unless we are talking shutter speed and apertures) but luckily, Hubby is brilliant with them.

I have other roles (who doesn’t?); daughter, friend, aunt, professor, animator, designer, dog-lover, judge, former pageant contestant – you’ll find hints and glimpses to all of those things here on the blog.
